Did you recite the Lord's Prayer at school?

This is what I remember
Our Father, who art in Heaven
hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread, ...............??????????
and forgive us our trespasses
for thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory
forever and ever Amen

Is that correct?

Give us this day our daily bread, and please make sure it is not stale nor is it rye bread because that crap is disgusting, and there you have it. The part of the Lord's prayer that you forgot about.

@CestManan Oh and the trespassers will be shot on sight part.

Yes I did......and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory
forever and ever Amen.

@Sutten Oh, I forgot quite a bit of it. 🙂

@Gusman the actual line says, lead us not into temptation, for that we can easily find on our own.

Yes. We also said grace in Latin. Very useful when I briefly became a teacher, and felt I could say the Latin version with a clear conscience despite being an atheist.

Yes but one part soon changed, the lead me not into temptation, for i shall find it thy self.😁

If you call yourself a follower of Jesus, you're supposed to do your praying in private.

No, just a spoof version of it.

Yes, in morning assembly. We also had a variety of graces that we used before meals. And I sang in the school choir on Sundays 😇

Yes, as well as several other prayers.
I attended a Catholic elementary school.
