Did anybody else not go to prom? 😅

Just curious lol. By the end of my high school years I wasn't allowed in regular schools anymore. Then I dropped out & whatnot 🙄

If you did go to prom though then tell us about it 🙌 I'm all ears at least

I went to 3 proms. Gotta say, it was fun getting all dressed up, but not all that important in retrospect.

@QueenOfTheNerds There's a shop near where I live called Shazzam which specialises in women's formal attire, bridal/bridemaids attire. etc. All very beautiful and I bet women who can afford that kind of attire look gorgeous and ultra-sexy. Men are all expected to wear suits I think and there's no shop locally for men's formal attire. I've never worn a suit in my life and never intend to.

@ChiefJustWalks My bf was a senior when I was a sophomore. We went to his prom, then both of mine when I was a junior and a senior. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@ChiefJustWalks My mom encouraged me to go. I don’t regret going, but it wasn’t all that magical except for the dresses and stuff.

@QueenOfTheNerds yeah I'm pretty sure people only do it for the memories, so they can look back & picture high school as this magical movie experience.

I was perfectly happy partying in the hood while all my peers were at their proms 😂
