Did you have any utter ridiculous school rules?
Just curious, we had to change from our outside shoes to inside shoes which seemed a faff and if we didn't have clean inside shoes we had to spend the day in socks.

until Nov 1st and after April 30th we could wear a short sleeved blouse. all buttons had to be buttoned
long sleeve in winter again all buttons buttoned and sleeves could not be rolled up
dresses no more than 1" above the knee with knee high socks
panty hose were not allowed as that was considered underwear and not allowed to be seen
shoes had to be purchased from a local dept store which were approved by the school
God forbid anyone wore makeup

@saragoodtimes We had uniforms that was black trousers, skirts for girls, white or navy shirt/blouse but could be long or short sleeved with a tie and a sweater optional.
