Not really a excuse, when it really is a open relationship. Yet I have heard that:

Of course no one wants to consider that, no matter what the relationship type.
EVERYONE is supposed to be perfect, according to only ONE set of values. Not their own SEPARATE individual values.
Ironically there is no such thing as perfection, even in any one thing.
You believe so? How much control do you have over your own thoughts? That's a form of cheating as well.
