I think many oversimplify personality traits of both genders. As if nice and bad were the only options.
You know what neighbours say when some guy strangles his wife. 😅 "He's always been such a nice man. He always greeted politely"

Jokes aside, a guy that thinks about himself as nice because he's polite and isn't an obvious a**hole to others and therefore he's entitled to women's attention that he's not getting, is usually just an aggrieved passive-aggressive kid who seeks faults at others instead of looking within himself.
A really nice guy just thinks he's unlucky and stays nice even after rejection.

My observations are in complete agreement with yours, on both sides. Most people seek the worst in others and I don't know why. The number one attribute I want to see in the people I share time with is kindness. I know this is true for you as well. But we are in the minority.

I kind have agreed with this concept all the way along. Often the girls that like the bad boys are not always the reliable dependable types and I think the shy boys get overlooked which is a shame because underneath they are often the most reliable annd understanding.
I never really gave a look to the brash overly good looking bad boys, I always seemed to gravitate towards the more shy ones.

Women love nice guys. The problem is that guys compliment a woman and worship her on day one, which they mistake as niceness. This is not niceness. Actually being nice is hard. It requires you to be mature, to be sacrificial, and for you to be charitable. This shit isn't easy. Waking up and working at a soup kitchen is nice; it's not easy.

Very few human beings are nice. And by nice, I mean genuinely compasionate and altruistic.

Quiet ladies are nice.

I think it's a case of wanting something we want but can't have completely. On both sides, one wants the other but the other keeps a distance creating a desire. People treating the other like garbage, etc seems to create more attraction. Weird but so common.

Nice guys are far better off by not being attractive to women who don't like nice guys. Actually, even not-so-nice guys are far better off by not being liked by women who don't like nice guys :)

Some of those women that like nice guys like them only because they can mold them into who they want them to be, in my case I prefer women that are more reserved and quiet, last thing I want is a woman that will continuously disturb my peace
