Anyone have a high school romance?

I did. I was a junior, and she a senior. She had transferred in from a school from an adjoining state. She was an Army brat, and had been born in Germany where she had spent most of her years until her father was rotated back to the states.
She was tall, and very pretty with long brown hair and bright blue eyes and we got along very well. She was quiet, but had a wonderful sense of humor. After she graduated, she returned to Germany to model before returning home during my Senior year. We were very close.....and then, my draft number arrived in the mail, [i]just[/i] in time for graduation. Kiss of death, I was A-1 with a draft number bordering 100.
We were together until I left. I still think of her often and wonder how she is.

I am married to my best friend from boarding school. We met on our first day as 7 year olds, married 24 years later 🙂

Yes. Started dating when she was a high school freshman and I was a sophomore. Married after she graduated from college and I finished my first year of grad school.

I saved it for college. High school was random hookups, fueled by a California culture that encouraged it.
