Need romance ASAP

Ok, fell in serious "like" with my supervisor at work (worse decision ever) and really regretting it. Luckily, he is leaving the company soon so I don't have to see him everyday, but I'm still hurting. Bottom line --- he has serious commitment issues which I should have caught onto a while back. 🤔 I know I want love, loyalty and true commitment. He doesn't even want a woman. 🙄

So... I need romance fast to get over him. I don't want to miss anymore work before he leaves the company (yes, it hurts that bad). How would you find a legitimate distraction fast?
Plenty more fish in the sea 🐠🐟 🎣

@PrettyFlamingos actually, the fish are dying out
there's just a few species left, and me

The last time I had my heart broken really badly, I bought a stack of books, set them by my bed and just forced myself to read every waking moment I wasn't doing something else.

I helped a little.

Don’t look for another man. Find something else
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@Jonjdw like what? I don't think anything else will work to make it better.

@perceptivei getting into another relationship with a man with the same outcome isn’t gonna help either
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@Jonjdw Well, i would definitely make sure the new guy doesn't have issues with commitment. If it didn't work out between me and the new guy, it would be over something else entirely.

No ideal but forget him

Learn to love yourself more than the idea of love. It will make him repulsive to you. Don't give of yourself freely to unworthy people.
