Snakes are showing up for some reason

We hadn't seen a snake in our yard all year. Last night, there was a water snake on our patio, and this ribbon snake was by the fence this morning. At least the venomous copperheads and cottonmouths haven't made an appearance.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I was glad to see the two that showed up. Maybe they will eat some of the lizards that are everywhere.

@Quimliqer We just have to be careful opening doors to go outside. They seem to always be near the door.
