@MaBalzEsHari I am a Sunday school teacher. I am very familiar with Romans. I read my Bible every day. You really do have this wrong. Is there a particular verse you can give me where you've read this? Gods plan included the gentiles from the very beginning. We can especially see this in Genesis 12:3 when God told Abraham that all nations would be blessed through him. There is never a plan B with God, only a plan.

@PatientlyWaiting25 "All Nations" were the Jews.....ORIGINALLY.......all 12 tribes that would eventually inherit the Promised Land. If you recall Abraham was also the father of Ishmael........the father of the Islam faith. So all nations to come from Abraham was NOT blessed by God. You are correct in one thing.....Genesis did say that but God chose the jews............for no real reason at all other than Jesus was a Jew. Jews certainly did not do anything to earn the title of God's Chosen People.............other than out of all people he chose the Jews....period.
But..... God also swore to kill every single Jew for turning away from him time and time again.............only Moses talked him out of that. The OT was a constant cycle of turning away......and then the captivity and punishment of Jews......and then revival...........then the circle started over. Paul says in Romans 11:11......the relationship between Israel and the Gentiles in God's redemptive plan was FIRST Jews....THEN...... the same deal of redemption was given to gentiles..
Paul states in Romans 11:11 that salvation has THEN come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous, indicating that Israel's rejection of the Gospel has opened the door for Gentile inclusion in the faith. This passage emphasizes that God's grace extends to all nations, not just a specific group, and that Israel's stumbling serves as a means to provoke them to reconsider their faith. If God did not try a different route of spreading the Word....so that "ALL NATIONS"....gentiles too....... could come to Him.......it would not happen at all....if left to the Jews.
Teaching Sunday School does not give one complete understanding of what they are teaching......but learning the Word increases our knowledge in it as we teach it. Be careful of boasting I teach...so I know it all. I don't know it all either..........no one does.........but I know from Romans 11 that Jesus realized if I do not open salvation and redemption to the gentiles.........the WORLD will never know it.

@MaBalzEsHari I'm tired and I'm here to relax, not to debate theological issues with you. I'm sure you already have your mind made up on what you believe anyway, and really you're just here to cause trouble. I think you will just have to wait and take it up with God when you meet him.

Biblical discipline is to live your in a righteous, godly, goodly fashion.
To choose that which is right over that which is not.
It is not referring to disciplinary actions, such as whippings.

I believe the majority of Christians try to follow biblical disciplines. But because we are human we will error.

Well it sounds like a person who seeks to follow the moral teachings in the Bible.. That takes Discipline..
So fairly simple concept..

Unhealthy, often male-chavinist, domination as summarised by the legal offence of "Coercive and controlling behaviour" - but with the Bible used as a cheap excuse for bullying.

@PatientlyWaiting25 Maybe so, and I do accept there are couples who appear happy in that arrangement, but it still seems to have a dark side. I suppose the difficulty is the danger of it creeping from a consensual relationship to one of control.

@PatientlyWaiting25 I think you are right about the really abusive ones, or many of them anyway, not trying to excuse their behaviour; but they are very manipulative.
By no means all are wife-beaters though. They are cruel in other, non-physical ways.

Have you never read the first few books of the bible where god just wipes out people? That’s biblical discipline. If this a fetish-based question, sorry to disappoint you. But not really.
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
@Ducky it may or may not be fetish based. DD isn't always about sex

Probably believing in a book written by men possessed by the Devil. That means the “Bible” in terms of the uniformed lay people.
