Biblical submission is a fetish.

This channel is from a former far right person who documents her journey. I found this interesting as in a few videos she openly admits how she got to be far right and even believed in selective breeding. Not what this video is about but I did find that openess refreshing.

She basically just puts out what we all thought originally about Christian nationalism but it's nice to see someone just admitting it out loud rather than guessing through dog whistles. And she was raised like this so it's interesting to see how people develop those beliefs.

It is so scary whats happening now.
And how much religion is being inserted into politics.

Its taken SO LONG for us to gain common freedoms for all people to choose their directions.
For men ti freely be home caregivers,
For women to be bread winners.

The other scary part of this is the economy of it.
We don't live in society that allows many single income families to functionally 'make it'.
To have ANY future in providing for ones children, many parents need BOTH to have an income.

The pressure this "philosophy"would put on many lower earning men would be ASTRONOMICAL.

I see this as more an 'elites' thing.

Itll just make the average family poorer.
Oh look, the “live and let live” people suddenly have an opinion on what other people think.

I’m not down with the god squad. But this is a dent in your “everyone is free” mantra.
@AdmiralPrune shes making the point that if they take away womens freedoms, (which they did with that wade/roe thing), it isnt freedom for all.

People, including traditionalists, definitely have a right to live in a traditional dynamic if they choose.
But its when hard earned legal freedoms get removed, back turned and taken away - then not everyone is free are they ?

They arent saying traditionalists cant live by their own mantra or personal ethics.
Just saying that traditionalists are heading in the direction of forcing others to live as only they deem fit 🤷‍♀

Why shouldn't everyone have the freedom to choose, (if they want), to have a job with an income that brings a degree of independence?

@OogieBoogie Yeah I didn't answer them cos their comment made no sense which is why I was reserving judgement so i didn't respond. But i wish they'd view the video and just comment based off what they agree or disagree with.

It's wild how people can just make a title and that's it lol knowing that the female who wrote it in the video I posted was a religious far right person so zi think she knows what she's saying from experience lol

Practically every religion is based upon male dominant and female submissive.

God created Adam....then took one of his ribs and created Eve.

You get the drift.
Man #1.....Woman a distant #3, as Children #2.

@JSul3 The New Testament makes it clear that Jesus is that God and came so we wouldn't be on our own...unless we chose to be. Again, selecting bits (which many Christians do as well) does not give a coherent view of the basic message of the Bible.

@FreddieUK Why did God/Jesus sit back and watch all of the horrible wars, rapes, murders...that continue today, and not intervene?

Evidently we've been 'on our own' for quite a long time.

@JSul3 it's a fair question and one that many ask. I don't want to be trite, but short bursts of answers can end up looking like that. God gave us free will: if he didn't then we would just be puppets who could not have any choices and would never be responsible for our own actions. If that was the case, then you really would be able to blame God. The wicked things to which you refer are all carried out by people who have choices. They will be accountable either in this world or the next. It is my understanding that I need to do what I can where I am to prevent horror and more than that bring light to dark situations by actively engaging with other people in positive ways. That's what Jesus taught and for those of us who believe that we have personally encountered him, that's what he helps us do. Even if you don't have that faith, there are clear moral choices put before all of us for which we alone are responsible, not God.
Not a fetish I'm into...

@Amyrakunejo Honestly it's okay if it is, I don't think it's saying submission is bad but a lot of the elements of the Bible are fetish like in nature. The obsession with purity, and submission with women is more like a sex story.

And that bleeds into our society and expectations
@SatanBurger Submission is one thing, Biblical submission is... no. Just no.
