If you want to meet the truth

If you want to meet the truth, you must first free yourself from the slavery of the superstitious subconscious mind and come out of the dark enclosure of religion with the help of the rational conscious mind. Then, being honest, you have to proceed logically like a truth seeker scientist or detective with the aim of uncovering the mystery. There is no place for blind faith in this path. You have to remember that you are human because you have a conscious mind. So as a human being it is your duty to be guided by the conscious mind. May your journey be successful. ~ Maharishi MahaManas
Good luck with trying to think your way to heaven. It won't happen. THAT'S the truth.
The Great Way. is not difficult for those who have no preferences. When like and dislike are both absent, everything becomes clear and undisguised. Make the smallest distinction, however, and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart. If you wish to see the truth, then hold no opinions for, or against, anything. To set up what you like against what you dislike is the disease of the mind. When the deep meaning of things is not understood, the mind's essential peace is disturbed to no avail.

Why does everyone keep calling Faith blind. Do you call love blind, or happiness blind. Faith is a very real thing.

I personally think "blind faith" is referring to following a faith, without asking questions or asking for proof. Or asking questions of our religious leaders, not getting a legitimate answer, and still believing in the faith and the leaders.
Not to diminish your faith because you know I respect you, but one example would be continuing to believe that Christ was fully human and fully God. We believe the science that tells us that in order to be a human being we need two sets of DNA, one set from the mother and one set from the father. To believe that Christ was fully human would mean he needed a second set of DNA from a father. Now this tells us that either Gad has DNA and is a human being, or that Christ was just a man and not a god.
Blind faith would come into play because we have scientific evidence that shows us different from the teachings, and an unwillingness to change the teachings based on science.

I know, it's a lot to absorb. 😅
If it’s not science, it’s superstition. This adage works.

Yes, especially if we're educated in or are practitioners of a science.

But there are other realities, such as the practicalities of daily life, budgets, emotional and social intelligence, and insights into our inner functioning. Most of these require no superstition or belief. Some require an understanding of how the superstitions and beliefs of other affect their values, expectations and behaviours.
The ideal would be to meet each and every moment with what the zens call "beginners mind." Reality is there in front of us, at all times. What do we meet it with? Often it is dead with the past and our presuppositions. It is judged even before we know it.

@pipedreams If you want to be happy stop thinking.

Get your conscious mind so in tune with your intuition, your belief, and your spirit that you do not have to rely on being "logical" or "realistic" in any scenario !
@rubyaruba Ah ha! The state of wu wei or effortless action. Theistically, " love Gid and do what you will."

Easier said than done but, paradoxically, worth the effort!

😀
