If you want to meet the truth, you must first free yourself from the slavery of the superstitious subconscious mind and come out of the dark enclosure of religion with the help of the rational conscious mind. Then, being honest, you have to proceed logically like a truth seeker scientist or detective with the aim of uncovering the mystery. There is no place for blind faith in this path.
