Is it just me, or is it kinda weird that it seems that according to the bible it used to be ok to marry and have kids with your siblings?

I just seen a video that said Adam and Eve had sons and daughters who married each other and had kids. But that it was ok in those days since the human genome was free from any type of mutation so the problems that we would see today from having children with your siblings wouldn't have happened back than. Idk still sounds gross and weird to me

If you research Neolithic Temple Culture and Royal Families, you will see that Women used to be Worshiped as part of the Mother Aspect of Nature. Like Mother Nature.

Then they used to have Children with everyone, even their own Sons.

And then it continued on as the Temple Culture slowly progressed to the Castle Culture, where these groups sought each other out so as to have Marriage that benefitted both Royal Groups, and not just like a Lottery System where their Subjects, or random Beautiful People were allowed in, but a System where they would Marry their Status.

And often Times this also devolved into Marrying your Sister/Brother or Cousin, etc.

Then if we research Marijuana Breeding, Subcool Seeds does a pretty good explanation of how Breeding the Strongest looking Plants with the Strongest looking Plants doesn’t make the best Plants. And then this gets to the Mendeleev Square, Recessive and Dominant Genes. So, likely there was actually a Time when Humans were being treated like Cattle by the Higher Status Groups that later became the Royal Families, and they were Breeding themselves. This is called Phenotypes, F1, F2, F3, etc. and if they were doing this Breeding of Humans like Cattle, they would want to do what is called “Locking in Genetics”, which requires that a Phenotype Mate with its own Phenotype.

So basically, if I want to make Red Heads with Green Eyes, and Blondes with Blue Eyes, I have to go through a few Generations, pull out the Recessive Genes, then have Phenotypes of various Strawberry Blonde and others that would be considered like Half-Breeds of these Phenotypes we want, like there might be Red Hair and Blue Eyes, and Blonde Hair with Green Eyes, so I keep Breeding them until I get a Male and Female of each Phenotype I want, then Breed them together and their Kids then are Locked in.

Now,
With Humans, Plants, Dogs, everything. It is best to do this in 2 sets and then Breed them together, so you don’t get the Mutations like Flipper Hands and Clefts, and Missing Eyes, or whatnot. But if you were doing this the first Time you might not have that choice, or knowledge leading you to set up 2 Groups from the outset.

But Purebred Dogs aren’t as smart as Wolves and Muts. So this is even normal Today. But, 2 People might be trying to make Labradoodles or whatever, and once they each have their’s, then you can start Breeding the 2 Groups. Which gets back to why Royal Families were Marrying for Status, it wasn’t all about Wealth at first. It was Phenotypical.
@Angelicalist Why do people Randomly Capitalize words? Is it an ongoing Attempt to Distract from their Point?
@LordShadowfire I've wondered that myself. Like when talking about God, for example, it's He or Him instead of he or him. In translating the Qur'an, Nihongi, Kojiki, Dhammapada, Bhagavad Gita from the archaic I've noticed religious and quasi-religious texts especially do this as if to think it adds some extraordinary significance to the text where there is none.

It’s like Capitalizing Nouns, Titles or Acronyms. There are just Things to Capitalize.

There is nothing wrong with it.

Not wierd to them, incest wasn't banned untill the law of Moses

The OT is full of weird things. It also used to be ok for a man to have many wives and concubines. It also used to be normal for parents to take their bratty kids out in the street and stone them to death. Oh, and slavery was just fine, as long as the slaves were submissive and obedient.

It might sound wierd to you , just as the thought of pre marital sex and homosexually would seem wierd to them
@TheWildEcho I think it was accepted much more then. Temple prostitutes, catamites, polygamy, incest, pedophilia - consider Sodom and Gomorrah. Even in what we would think of as traditional marriage things were much different. Mary was only 14 or 15 when she married Joseph, who was probably in his early 30s. People didn't get married because they "love" each other, it was a practical partnership. Things were different then.

@AkioTsukino yes but that was a lot later than Adam's day which is when the op was refering to
@TheWildEcho Adam's day was a thousand years, and encompassed, from Adam’s creation to the birth of Seth, for example, 130 years. Seth was born after Cain killed Abel and they were grown men at that time. They may have been as old as 100 when Abel was murdered. During which time Adam and Eve had an indeterminate number of sons and daughters.

I think when people read the Bible they think in linear terms not unlike their own, like the events told there are compressed in time, instead of how they may have actually unfolded. Genesis 5:1-29; 7:6, for example, contains 1,656 years.
If human life originated any other way how do you explain that not having happened?

That part of the bible was written by racist, sexual predators that wanted the bloodline so pure they would only have sex with family members who they could groom from childhood.
Much more believable than a magic genome.
@TheWildEcho Go to Genesis 5. It says Adam had Seth at 130. Adam was never born, no ages mentioned for when Cain and Abel were born or when Abel died. Nothing about Eve being old or existing. Seth was 105 when his first son was born. No clue where Mrs. Cain came from. And so on…
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@BlueSkyKing so where do you think all Adams children and grandchildren were living? Use the bible to understand the bible! There was a city so there must have been plenty of people around. Remember they lived a long time back then, probably having children at 2-3hundred years old
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@AkioTsukino you're right about that!!
Trust me, dude. It's not just you.
