Unless you are independently wealthy you have to do something to make money. Just be glad that unions and the labor movement have greatly improved working conditions over the last century. Weekends, the 8-hour day, benefits, all from unions.

You and my wife would get along real well, I think. She has basically the exact same viewpoint on life.
