I’ve been finding a little peace in the pages lately.

I mean, journaling and writing poetry don’t magically fix everything, but they give me a space to breathe.

It’s not always pretty or perfect, but it helps me feel a bit lighter like I’m slowly carrying less of the weight I’ve been holding. And I like the artsy part of it.

Sometimes the pen is my therapy, even when therapy feels out of reach.

A run in the country usually sorts me out.

Often I’m absorbed in my painting.

My herb garden is a place of peace.
