Growing up we had strict bedtimes also. I think part of it was mom and dad wanted time to themselves. At 15 we also had bedtime of 8:30 during school nights and 9 on weekends and summertime. When we were 16 they let us stay up until 9:30 during school nights and 10 on weekends. At 17 we had 10 bedtimes during week and 11 on weekends and holidays.
