I'm grateful for the people in my life and for those who were... Sunrise and sunset...I don't see those often enough now, but still cherish those. Coffee...it's one of the simple things in life... Flowers... remember to take time to smell the flowers! Life... It's not always perfect but it sure is a wonderful adventure. :) People like you bringing questions like this... a great reminder we all have something to be thankful and grateful for. :)
I'm always grateful I'm sober. My family are all well. I'm not having to worry about money, where I will sleep and what I will eat today. I live in a beautiful home. I'm not in fear and not having to flee where I live just to try to live.
@Soossie Amen and Ameen. My CT scan showed sciatica though. I feel like I've joined an exclusive club. I can get together with all the other sufferers of sciatica and complain with them! 😊
@Soossie My right leg is useless for about a half hour after resting it, and it throbs agonizingly when it is not moving. You're right. It hurts like nothing I've ever experienced. When it gets warmed up, it doesn't hurt nearly as much when I am active and moving around. Very strange. I'm happier than I've been in a very long time though! I thank God for that!
@Ksmile14 I don’t think for us humans it is a natural state to be grateful for everything, so its not automatic... Many times its work...🤷♀️ Till it is finally habitual
Housing, clothing, food and drink, friends, family, born in USA, VA, income, my dog, sobriety, relative health, location, salvation, and that's just scratching the surface. Thanks for reminding me.
My own self awareness, the realization eternally that I have come to that I'm a rare species of bird who understands the nature of the meaning of life is subjective andd has chosen love because best as I can surmise the only reason I haven't suicided is I haven't given up on it.

my experiences slowly guiding me to that insight realizing this well enough to know that that I should avoid trying to get a job in the corporate world and just create my own company because if there was trouble in my relationships I probably wouldn't even get out of bed to go into work even if it meant getting fired. I don't live a 9 to five life style and you ladies are the reason why.

Spending time with my family. We had a small gathering yesterday to celebrate my youngest sister’s birthday and for once, everyone was functional and happy. T’was a nice change.
