This post reminds me of when I was a kid. I was watching the titanic movie with my family.

During that scene where the guy gets shot and his Italian friend shouts "bastardo", my father turned to us and said 'He just said "I'm casting aspersions as to the legitimacy of your birth" in Italian' .

WTH! People are hating on you because they thought you were born out of wedlock? I won’t use the word “illegitimate” for any life. All life is legitimate and a gift.

Those people are ridiculous, and so immature in a day and age where those same people think it’s okay for kids to be in a drag show, or mutilated and sterilized, or have grown men prancing naked in their parades. Yeah, this is the mentality. Brush them off like a piece of fluff on your shoulder because that’s all they are. People with no substance and no common sense.

At this point in life I do not imagine the circumstances of your birth matter much. Everyone else involved has probably passed on so who is left to argue with?
