they were in fact married before my birth....

the fact that the interval between "I now pronounce you" and "it's a boy could be measured not with a calendar but a three minute egg timer (with plenty of sand left over in the hourglass) to be (as they used to say on the Perry Mason shows) "incompetent, irrelevant, and immaterial"
