Is it considered a form of cheating to flirt on SW if you're married?

To me giving compliments is not flirting, nor cheating....

However, if I was in a relationship, I would want my man to respect me and not flirt with others even without me having to ask him...

It is if your partner doesn't approve. In my marriage, where my spouse and I are looking to be swingers, it's not cheating.

Depends on who is doing the considering. If your spouse knows and doesn't care and if the person on SW understands it is just joking around, it's not cheating.

tennisdad suppose it is wrong in one way but i suppose if it means nothing harmless depends how your partner takes it when the find out about it
