That (loneliness) is the very thing that led to me being single. I take the blame for it because I didn't see the red flags before we got married. Her actions told me I was going to be alone. Did I see it? No, or more like I did, and ignored it.

It tooks years, but it led us to a divorce. Nothing ugly, mostly a sad thing for both of us. She was and is a fantastic woman and we are great friends, maybe better friends than when we were married.

I can't recommend anyone spend years and years like that... it wastes so much precious time - time you can never regain.
