Both.I cheated on all my boyfriends except for my current boyfriend.In my late teens and early twenties I had up to five boyfriends at the same time, none of them knew about each other.I have an open relationship with my current boyfriend at my insistance.I have dated and have had fwbs that are married and I still do.

I always think about how I can get everything I want from the one I am with
I just have ask or lovingly manipulate, rather, let's say steer my partner to get there.

other people bring with them other things that'll irritate too

I have never cheated, but I was the side piece and knew it for about a year. Wish I could go back and change it. It was a real low time in my life, he treated bad, and at the time that's all I thought I deserved. I broke it off, but never told his wife even though I had many opportunities.

I can't call it cheating .. but my wife has willing let me have other partners.
But I did it only when I was traveling alone. Never have done it when I have been home.
There has been no need for me to seek someone else when I am home.

I cheated once when I was 19-ish. I was in an abusive relationship (first real relationship). Eventually I figured out how to leave. Never allowed myself to be trapped like that again.

I’ve never been the side piece intentionally though. I was 21-ish I did have a guy claim he was in an open relationship, which turned out to be another life lesson for me to always confirm with the other person before anything happens. I felt really bad when she came to me obviously upset. My actual takeaway from that was resounding ‘No thank you’ to all future non-monogamy scenarios lol…

When I was younger I was fortunate enough to have a woman invite me over to her house for dinner and sex regularly. She vacationed with other men. Sometimes breakfast.
