Is love come arranged marriage the best of both worlds?

So in this form of relationships, the couple falls in love and chooses their own partner. They get to go on dates and get to know each other and decide if they want to pursue the marriage, but then the families take over the rest of the formalities that make it somewhat arranged like introductions to the love interests family and formal courtship is approved and then marriage. The parents bless the union. What are your thoughts?
