How Many Spouses Are Too Much?

Long story but I have an uncle that has been married 6 times and has always had a gf, or two on the side. This, was one of the reason he got divorced so much. Question is, is it worth the trouble to keep getting married and divorced? Know anyone like that? Just curious.

Why would he want six mothers in laws?

Uncle and people like him just doesn't know how to live an honest lifestyle.

They want to be poly but commit to a life of monogamy. 🙄

I would say after three failed marriages, someone really needs to think, "This just isn't working."

BUT, I knew this one lady who was married and divorced SEVEN times. Now to be fair, two of them were to the same man. So yeah six ex husbands.
ONE MORE and that dumb b*tch will be tied with Elisabeth Taylor.

My wife had an uncle like that. He remained friends with all (including with benefits with some) after divorcing. They all enjoyed each other, but all concluded they couldn't live 24/7 with each other. He finally decided he was better off not marrying again, and just remain friends with the exs.

3rd time around here. I always want it to work. But didn't know how to make it work. When you're not wanted, taken for granted, abused,or you're the only one working at it. It's impossible to fix.
It's also way easy to get out of it so it's easy to throw hands in the air and walk out.
I have met people like that. I don’t get it either. Just stay single and have all the casual partners you want. No need to hurt someone.

Typically people who do this are in it for the perks (either money, attention and/or the help).

I would suggest that for any of the wives he had it was one too many.

Why buy a cow when you can get milk in the market?? 🤣
That sounds like far too much work!
my husbands aunt is on her 6th husband, sort of. She didn't marry this one. It's the longest relationship she's ever had. So, no legality involved might be the trick for those who change spouses on the regular.

Nope. No reason to get married from the beginning. It's becoming a business.

One is enough for me 😃
