Lack of novelty. Nothing about your partner surprises you anymore. It may be familiar and comfortable for that, but it's hard for something to be both familiar and novel at the same time.

I've been married for 33 years. It's not always pleasant and never will be. I do think that some couples become complacent with each other. Just my humble opinion.

My husband and don't seem to have that problem even after have worked together for 13 years before our 26 years of marriage. You folks either do not belong together or are just plain lazy in your brains.

Im not being smart but i think myself " could be wrong " but i think anyone in long term relationships when there in it , it gets stale after while cause personally i think in some part of there mind is that there freedom is taking away .
I think then communications goes and then arguements continues and all of the crap that comes with that .
Im single 14 years now . Id like a relationship but not what it brings when communication breaks down .
