@LonelyEmpath No. I did not insult you. I stated the truth. Racial preferences are weird af. Interracial dating is fine but to put it on a pedestal and to act like anything less is settling is gross. It’s an objectification of women, you’re just like any man who views women as nothing more than their beauty. This is my observation. You have done nothing to make feel differently.

I ask because when I was young and dating my hobbies that were either seen as gender netural or even femine (like writing) got a lot of femine attention when contrasted to my hobbies that were seen as more masculine. While you are thinking black women it somewhat how they are thinking and I would guess a high percentage of them would be looking for commonalities. You can hedge your bets by picking and adverstising a few hobbies that may be expressive and or whatever you feel you need to do to connect culturally (which It feels like you already doing? ) If I had a cat or a dog in a profile picture when I was way younger on a dating site that was always a hit. That is cool you are in New Orleans. Sounds like a cool place to live.
