Actually, it's even more insulting (to me) when someone makes a point of saying they [b]don't[/b] like "older women". As if someone asked.

I think in most cases it's inability to express what they feel. To me a woman (regarding the age aspect) is like a musical instrument. If it tuned and sound good then it's great, but if it does yet it's old, then people would fight over it

Why is that a problem? They're just saying what people they're attracted to... There are people who aren't interested in those around their own age for whatever reason. I don't see how that's insulting
