False. It seems like it would be true, but in reality, it's only a coincidence. People fall in love with whatever satisfies their insecurities at that point in time. Because that's what love is. It's just insecurity and greed mixed together.

@yeronlyman: I'd guess what helps make it more complicated is that, being sentient creatures with the ability to reason and think as opposed to act only by instinct and reflex, we've developed an entire [i]sexuality[/i] which is different from the primal instinct just to have sex for procreation, as is hardwired into most animals' brains. We do things like date and try to form intimate relationships with other humans, and marry for life. We're very weird. And we want other people for different reasons specific to us and our personalities and lifestyles.
