Why do so many people make a face when I mention that about me... well my desire to have a polygamist relationship? I would like to learn more about it before I enter one of course. But I am very willing to enter one

Polyamorous. Polygamous refers specifically to marriage. And they're atrocious, speaking from my own experience.
