Just to recap...........your job ended.....you had no where to go....no job lined up and SOMEONE else gave your husband a free home...............but the one to put a FREE roof over your head is at fault because your FREE house.......that don't even belong to you.........isn't a mansion.

@anythingoes477 Nope my husband was working !!!!! And while we were not together his mother would LOOOK for the home for him and my son while he was out the country. I feel like if they would’ve consulted me I could’ve helped find a better quality home. My husband did not have time to LOOK for the home. HE IS PAYING THE MORTGAGE ON IT EVERY MONTH AND I THINK ITS A SHITTY HOME.

It isn't safe to live in a home like that. Mold is a killer. Sounds like this one needs extensive repairs or needs to be bulldozed and replaced.
Be nice to the mom though, she did try to give you a house, that is a pretty amazing gift, even if it isn't liveable currently.

If you have MONEY you could call in a mold remediation company and have the water issues fixed and the mold remediated, or removed. THAT would help with the bad smell. You could also call a pest control company to have the bugs removed.
BUT it sounds as though you are angry, and I doubt that you want anything to do with the house or your husband.
