No, why would it be weird. It's a nice gesture and doesn't hurt to do every once in awhile. A lot of women would love to receive flowers or pretty much any kind of gift just because.

@deathfairy A narc ? I can understand not trusting a situation where it seems like he’s trying to buy or manipulate her, but in a relationship that’s otherwise healthy, gifts “just because” are really sweet, I think.
