When I taught high school in the 90s I discovered that those perceived as lacking had strengths in areas you wouldn’t imagine. Building on those areas often built new areas of confidence and strength!

Yes. It has happened countless times. People connect on so many levels.
Perhaps a person is super intellectual but thats not really what they need from their partner.
From their partner they get family, love, devotion but its a bit more rare because the dumb person won't be able to connect with the smart person in certain areas.
