Ever rejected someone and it went badly?

I'm under the impression ignoring someone doesn't get the hint through. I'm also under the impression that saying you aren't interested doesn't put them off trying.

Last week. I ignored his multiple texts because I don’t want to be a slave to my phone and he called me a “time waster”. I told him he wasn’t wrapped too tight and blocked him and his alt account.
