Ever rejected someone and it went badly?

I'm under the impression ignoring someone doesn't get the hint through. I'm also under the impression that saying you aren't interested doesn't put them off trying.

@PaleandPolluted I'm not sure. For me I send two messages. If the second isn't replied to I assume the person doesn't want to talk to me haha.
