When a month after you've moved on from a complicated relationship , that one thing brings everything flooding back. Not as bad as before, but just enough to really dig in about all those things you miss, like "yay, thanks brain, yes , I do indeed miss hugging that particular person, that is indeed valuable information to keep reminding me of"

I had a wonderful someone - took me years to wake up to "they were only kind and generous when they had something to gain" - to butter me up for something they wanted.

I didn't see the pattern for years!!!
