@yeronlyman Always the preferred method that’ll resonate more powerfully, but I’ve seen moments when someone will compliment someone’s wife on her accomplishments and her husband just completely brushed it off and turned the attention somewhere else. There wasn’t that, “That was all her, man. She’s incredibly awesome like that,” that can definitely carry its own level of powerful. The disappointment she accidentally exuded is something I’ll never forget.

@yeronlyman I do...There is not a day that goes by without me telling her (and showing her in some way) just how much I love her, what I love about her, how much I appreciate her, and what she means to me....I just want the whole world to know it too, I feel like I could shout it from the housetops and highest mountains sometimes.

I mean, I’m glad you’ve never experienced that particular encounter because it is in fact rough, but the shared pride that people have for others when they do good...we wear that stuff like a badge of honor down here in the south. Well. Usually. There’s always those people that are just whatever about everything that doesn’t involve them getting the cheers.
