On a scale of 1-10 how important are looks to you when looking for a bf/gf?

It matters of course. It all starts with chemistry. Although as I got older I realise there's more to a partner than looks alone

It's how you generally first notice a person. But there also has to be connection between you, and chemistry

I am with Wrenna on this one...Of course looks are important, it's important how a person looks to ME (not by any general opinion or standard). But there is a lot more to a person than their body just as there is much more to a happy and lasting relationship than sex. For me it's a lot more about who the person is (demeanor, personality, interests, mind-set, beliefs, and so on), if I am attracted to her in those ways then her physical appearance falls easily into place...love perpetuates lust and not the other way around for me (and she doesn't have to be "perfect" for me to be turned on by her either). Initial interest is just that, an interest, that may get it started but it takes a lot more to keep that interest and grow it into attraction. It's a 4 or 5 for me also.

Im not very picky when it comes to looks anymore.
I dated hot guys and cute guys but they didnt last cause of their terrible personality and they treated me awful.Some also thought they were all it and were arrogant asf.

Found a cute guy now, but we chatted and got to like eachother before I even got to see what he looked like.
Personality and how they treat me is #1 from now on.

Can’t foresee a romantic relationship with someone if I don’t find myself attracted to them. But looks are the surface that draws you in there has to be substance behind that to remain interested.
