What do I do?

I am torn between two exceptional ladies. One I've been with for years, the other I've been seeing about a year. The one I've been with for years has been good to me and she's been there through it all. I admit sometimes I am not easy to live with, but she phenomenonly loves me. However, the lady I've been seeing about a year is quite remarkable herself; and she is more fun to be with.
So...how do I tell the first lady I've been with for years, that good ain't good enough?

Although everything you say about the first lady sounds wonderful, to my mind if she was ‘the one’, you would not be looking at other women. Your heart is clearly not in it & you are not in love, so it would be kinder to do both yourself & her a favour & cut the ties now, rather than later, because you cannot stay with someone just because they are kind & have been good to you - even if you don’t end up with the latest one.

@BalmyNites Yes I am torn between loyalty and love.

@Vendetta Love will win the day, every time

Do they know about each other?

@Vendetta I kinda figured as much. So the newer one is going to be on her best behavior in hopes of you leaving the one you've been in a relationship longer with.
In other words, you haven't seen her true colors. She's still trying to win. Does that make sense?
So I would caution you about the second one.

@PeacefulYes, my lady your brilliant point does not escape me. I shall proceed with caution.

@Vendetta and please go back through your memory banks and think of all the good things the first one has done for you, how she's been there for you and such. The grass usually isn't greener on the other side.
The grass is green because you water it.

Why did you do that if she was so good to you?

Could you handle losing what you have with the first woman?

@Vendetta What you'd gain from the 2nd isn't worth what you'd lose with the 1st?
Vendetta · 31-35, M
@SW-User That's what I fear.

@Vendetta Then stick with the safer option. 🤷‍♀️

Be sure that is the right decision. Based on your description, I am not sure that it is.
Do they know about each other?
Vendetta · 31-35, M
@Mamapolo2016 The 2nd one knows, but not the 1st one.
@Vendetta Then you have already taught the second the rewards of being steadfast and faithful and treating you well.

Don’t be surprised if you find you’ve gone from two ladies to zero.
