Why do guys feel the need to fight??? i'd be more scared than embarrassed if i had to witness that!!!

Well Becksta, it's not that I ever wanted to fight. But if another guy challenges you in front of your girlfriend, then what do you do? If you fight and lose, it's embarrassing. But if you back out, it is even MORE embarrassing because the woman might think you are a coward or that you can't fight.@HootyTheNightOwl
@BigRon We live in 2019, not the year 19 and we no longer dwell in caves thumping clubs against the wall - there are other ways to diffuse a situation without needing to resort to fisticuffs.

Yes. You are right, Becksta. We now live in 2019. But our thinking is still from centuries past on a lot of things. And there are still many females who love watching a fight. And those are the women, generally speaking, who feel embarrassed if their man loses. Especially if he loses easily.@HootyTheNightOwl

Yep, yeah, and yes. But it depends on the "love" level, I think. If you don't really love a man maybe it's okay if he fights. Most women who like fights, don't want to see someone they love get into one. My problem, I guess, is that I lost fights in front of women who didn't love me.@Coralmist
@BigRon If a man has to resort to fighting other men for whatever reason, then, what's he going to do to me as a woman if he doesn't get his own way???
i'd much rather have a guy with a high enough IQ to use effective communication to talk his way out of trouble. This indicates to me that he is going to be more likely to turn to communication rather than violence when things don't go well in the relationship.
