Does your significant other know your whole life story or are their parts that you deliberately leave out?

I've been married for 17 years and there are still things that I've never told my husband and I probably never will. I'm too scared and ashamed to admit them to myself, never mind someone else, even if it is my spouse.
Do you think that someone should reveal everything to their significant other or is it okay to leave the past in the past sometimes?

It's really not necessary to reveal every detail of your life to be close to someone. As long as they know the stuff that's important to know about you and is relevant to the relationship, that should be good enough.
