I'm curious what happen since? Did you actually get to meet?

@KellyLancaster I think it's just something that I need to work through myself. He is great, but I'm a mess. Haha

Maybe a compromise. Arrive to meet someplace you wanted to go anyway. If he is a no show, the day is still yours.
@whowasthatmaskedman That's a really good idea. Thank you. :)

@lauriethecolourful Good luck, however it turns out.😉
Lostpoet · M
How does he keep messaging you without a phone and how do you receive those messages.
@Lostpoet We talk through Facebook and access it with our laptops only when we are at home.
Lostpoet · M
@lauriethecolourful oh. The guy is psycho just go out with someone else.
Peaceful · F
Did anyone at your work confirm he called?
@Peaceful No, they didn't. But I didn't ask. To be fair, the number for my workplace online is not a number that would get in contact with my manager and me.

Then give him one more chance

One more chance. Be prepared to be let down. Do not blame yourself.
All we can do is take people at face value.
@Gusman That's what I was thinking. I can't just assume that his reason is a lie, but I will go in thinking that until he tells me otherwise.
Sorry i am late. To me it would depend on the reason. And something coming up is b.s.

If you really like the guy make another date but make it at a restaurant that you might eat at whether he shows up or not.

If it was legit then you might have one 9f those funny stories to share on your 29th anniversary.

If he is a no show this time then write him off.

The fact that he apologised tells me that he really does want to spend time with you. Things do happen. It could be legitimate excuse. Especially since he did apologise. I’m a believer in second chances. You might regret not having given him a second chance.
@ASouthernGentleman I agree with you. I have dated guys that ghosted me and then never talked to me again, so the message tells me that he does care is some way, shape or form. It might not go where I want it to in the end, but I need to give him a chance.
ASouthernGentleman · 31-35, M
I would. Things do happen. My own sister cancelled her plans with me because she broke her ankle. Now, granted it’s not the same thing but the point is, things can and do happen. Give the chap a chance. He might even bring you flowers for having to cancel. @lauriethecolourful
Say yeah.. and don’t show up 🤔

@lauriethecolourful well good. Be aware how you feel around a man too. A man needs to make you feel secure, not insecure.
@Carazaa I feel secure with him. It's when I'm not that I have insecurities. :/ I'm a big mess. Hahaha
Carazaa · F
@lauriethecolourful Always analyze if a man is good enough for you, not if you are good enough for him.🙂
You'll meet the right person. Hell id go with ya if i could im bored haha ive been dumped and left before too
@TimingQuasars We are actually dating now. Hahaha
@lauriethecolourful wow alright then
Sicarium · 46-50, M
If he had a legit reason, sure. If not, nah.

If you're free and you like him, do it. Life's short
