What is true love?

Is it something that grows over time or is it something that you feel when you meet them for the first time and then again and can't get them out of your mind?! I'm confused on how love feels or what it is at this point of time.... It feels made up for me right now as i think about how to find love. It's like searching for someone you can settle down with that won't just piss you off and will show you some affection
