Should a friendzoned guy hide that he's in love with her, or no?

We were friends / close acquaintances. I liked her; admitted it to her. She rejected me, though all respectfully, politely, maturely, and caringly. She thinks I just liked her, and that I was not (and that I'm not) in love with her. Am I right in hiding it from her? Could there be a single valid reason for admitting I was lying, faking it?

She's been such a good friend to me, so I partially feel bad for lying to her. Yet I know she wouldn't be comfortable about it either, so I don't want to bother her needlessly (nor humiliate myself, for that matter).

We see each other on a regular basis through college.

I'd be a hypocrite if I told you to express your feelings.

You have a good friendship. If that's enough then say nothing. If it isn't and you're both young free and single then say something because what is there to loose?
