I gave it a try some years back. It was an okay relationship it was just missing that in person connection. Because of that I wouldn't do it anymore and a lot of other factors as well. It works for some people though.

It's something that requires a lot of patience. But if you can manage it I feel like the relationships are deeper and based on more than just physicality. All of my long distance relationships did end, but those girls are still some of my favorite people and closest friends to this day.
