May I know what's your take on long distance relationship?

I've heard of so many love stories that just fall into ashes but I also heard some of the successful sweet ones that defy the odds. 💕

I think they're worth it. :) True love knows no distance.

@JupiterDreams awwh. I surely agree but it would really be tricky but it is really worth it when it is true love. Thank you for the comment. 💕

A relationship without intimacy and no way to find out if the partner is cheating?
Yeah sounds great!

@Soyyoprincesa You heard him.
Soyyoprincesa · 31-35, F
@MarkPaul @RemovedUsername570845 you mean you sense trust issues on me? lol. How come?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Soyyoprincesa No... that we all are confused. You know... confusion is what we do. It's how we get paid. It's how we roll.

30 years in the Navy, we both dealt with the separation well. It wasn't easy mind you, 6 months to a year away at a time.💕

@Soyyoprincesa thanks. Believe it or not, the hardest part was after I retired... had to learn to live together.👍💕

@Montanaman oh. lol. excuse me for finding that ironic-ly funny. I hope you two adjust well. 😇

@Soyyoprincesa LoL, not at all. Imagine, a manly man, coming home and finding out he's not in charge of anything. It's the way of the Navy wife. She's a good one, so I just let her run her world 👍

With the Internet, I think long distance relationships are much easier and much more successful than they used to be. With Skype, Instagram, and other sites, even this one, you can stay in touch in ways that simply were not possible just a few years ago. While I was in the Peace Corps a few years ago, i had a great relationship with a woman in Canada while I was in Lebanon. We chatted every other day, had virtual and video sex (mutual masturbation; one does what one can), and stayed together for another year after we were physically reunited. We are still very close and have a long distance friendship as she is in Sudan and I am in Paris, but who knows. Give it a chance, I say!

@Gwangi awwh. I agree on most parts but I am sensing it didn't work with you guys? ☹ Why? 😓

@Soyyoprincesa She was bi while we dated, but met a woman one day and decided she was totally into women, which I could respect. The distance had nothing to do with it.

I think I need to become dictator of the world so I can erase certain words, starting with "long distance relationship"... because that phrase can mean so many different things it's essentially devoid of meaning.
sometimeslonelytoo · 51-55, M
It's a long-shot, possibly worth trying in extremely exceptional circumstances.
Soyyoprincesa · 31-35, F
@sometimeslonelytoo Yup. You'll never know when it will truly work out for you unless you try, right? 😉 thank you for the comment.
pearllederman · 61-69, F
ive never been in one but i dont see anything wrong with it
Soyyoprincesa · 31-35, F
@pearllederman Yes. I agree. Thank you for the reply. 🙂

THERE ALWAYS TRULY PAINFUL
PERIOD OLE BUCKAROO
Soyyoprincesa · 31-35, F
@Jimgeneration60 I think in every relationship there is pain at some point, isn't it?
Jimgeneration60 · 61-69, M
@Soyyoprincesa yes because today adults in normal life cant even trust on stupid stuff let alone being in love far away just saying
