Is it appropriate to tell someone you love them right after a heated discussion OR is it best to wait to tell them later??

I don’t know about appropriate, but is probably most needed and wanted. I think it helps heal. It says I might be mad at you, but never forget I still love you.

It's extremely rare that my wife and I have such heated discussions (fights are practically non existent)...but when it does happen we both try to make it right as soon as possible. We both hate conflict and fighting, it just disrupts the harmony that we enjoy and love.
Excellent! @indyjoe

I don't think there's a right or wrong in this situation. For me personally, as long as the discussion was respectful and productive, I tell them right away.

@naturegirlUK I agree...my wife and I tell each other "I love you" often ( in fact it's not uncommon to say it several times each day). We never get tired of saying it or hearing it.😊

@indyjoe and I believe always makes you smile :)

I think that varies depending on what a heated discussion is
