How do you know when you've met the one?

I always used to ask this same question and was told that when it happens you'll just know. You know what? It's absolutely true! When I met my wife and started getting to know her I knew without the slightest doubt that she was the person I was meant to be with. I have no explanation as to how I knew... I just knew. No doubt, no fear, no question. It was sort of mystical for lack of a better word. I'd never experienced that before, not even when I met and married my 1st wife.

When there is no other person you want to be with?

there is no "one". there are literally thousands of people you are compatible with. you just have to find one of them, if you dare.

butterflies .......always happy around that person ....never want to leave their side will do anything for that person

Love at first sight, and a feeling you've never felt for anyone

You can't bare being without them.

I don’t think think there is just “one” out there for anyone. Given different circumstances, any person could be happy with a number of different people as companions, there’s not just one that God or fate or whatever has always wanted you to be with.

I don't think you can tell right away

Often enough you realize it, when you lost him/her, but then again - I agree with the others, you usually just know it.

you dont. that person could do soo much harm even tho you might think at the moment in time that they are the one.

I don't know anymore. I thought I met her years ago but that turned out to be false
