When a relationship ends, who feels the heartache

Both but more for whoever was more invested in it.

I wonder sometimes if it's the break up itself that's painful or not knowing if the person who broke up with you can so easily carry on with their lifes while yours is falling apart. Either way I don't wish it upon anyone.

I have grieved 10 years and the one who got me over that, hurt me too
so not really getting over the first one ,it was like I lost them both
but now 6 years later I think I will make it
but I didn't use anyone this time to forget
I was not dragging anyone else into my life until I had dealt with this

Idk, it's pretty intense and seems like it will never end for me. *sigh* Some seem to just carry on more lighthearted. Maybe they loved less.

Both generally the woman shows her feelings more than a man in my opinion. Unless the relationship is all one sided .

Men tend to take much longer to deal with a breakup, to move on, which is biologically understandable

I think it's dependent on why the relationship ended.

That really depends on who cared more. But it’s said that women tend to have better support systems (friends, family) to whom they’re willing to turn, and that helps them recover. Men, on the other hand are said to tend to lick their wounds privately. But in terms of numbers, men also tend to murder their exes or murder-suicide more often than women, so that says something.
