How physically motivated are women?

I am in a marriage that has gone sideways. I have gained weight and my wife doesn't like it. I suspect however that if she still loved me it would be less important that I have put on weight. That is an assumption of course. I am assuming if ahe still loved me like she did she would see me as she wants to see me.

We don't fuck or fool around anymore - hardly ever. I am just trying to determine if she doesn't love me because I have gotten heavy or if she doesn't love me and I just so happednd to get heavy. She says she still loves me but doesn't act like it. If I lose weight it would fix everything the way she explains it. However, it doesn't feel genuine to me.@SW-User

@Genieinabottle It's probably half BS, but if you lose the weight and she still doesn't change just think about what a great benefit you got.

@CoxswainOtter have I lost the love for her? No. I still love her though arguably not the same as I once did. I just don't care about life (or anything in it) enough to do anything (most of the time).

@CoxswainOtter I still think that if it was me complaining about a wife who gained a bunch of weight I would be shot down as unloving, shallow and the bad guy. Somehow a woman can do the same thing and it is still my fault.

@CoxswainOtter oh no, on a completely separate note I think that if a man came on and said his wife gained a bunch of weight and he didn't love her anymore because of that that he would be burned at the stake. Whereas, my wife doesn't love me like she used to and it's still my fault.
