Please tell me I didn't just discover that my dad is having an affair or something

You know I asked this at EP last year, b/c I strongly believe my dad has cheated on my mom with a call girl- he was saying something to a friend on the phone about a woman that sounded VERY off to me:/ I never confronted him but my mom did when she found nail polish on his car; he denied anything (of course). I still believe he had some type of something on side and ppl told me at EP that I should 'stay out of it'... I did, but I still do not respect my dad a lot, b/c I have a strong notion of what may have went on. It's up to you I guess, and maybe you could notice if he is on his phone more often? I don't have a definite answer friend, I'm sorry... I am still wondering myself to bring it up to my dad.

I'd investigate. That's sending up red flags in my mind.

It could be innocent but he was was afraid it could be misconstrued..I wouldn't make a big thing about it.

If everything is alright at home with your mom why would you want to investigate.

If not following up on it will bother you or affect your relationship with your father, then you should try to find an explanation. Otherwise, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt that you misread the situation and try to forget about it.

You're better off not following up on that.
